Rev. Peter Castles Peter Castles has been pastor of Cedar Park First UMC since June of 2010. Peter speaks truth to us all every Sunday, relating to children and adults. Peter helps out whenever and wherever he can. He even camps out with the youth at all-night retreats. The youth have since nicknamed him "Pastor Latte". Peter has a Masters of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, where he is also currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree. He served churches in Garfield and Manchaca, Texas before coming to Cedar Park. His beautiful wife, Pam, is a nurse for the Seton Healthcare System, and they have two daughters in college. |
Jodi Blount Music Director & Pianist Jodi Blount has an amazing heart for music and for children. She has been the church’s accompanist since 2000, and has served as Director of A Child’s Haven since its inception in 2005. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Bonnie How and her amazing family hail from Canada, but have been living in Austin for several years. She has been an active part of the youth program for two years and counting. Bonnie is so easy to talk to and her peaceful, fun spirit keeps our youth program alive and full of energy. The youth, including her three children, continue to have a blast with the help of her wonderful husband, Mark and other sponsors.
